    Keynote: The Wise Organization

There is a deeper wisdom--a wisdom that appears crazy on the surface, but represents the twist in perspective essential for the future. If we can embody it, we will flourish. If we cannot, we will struggle without solutions. This wisdom is ancient, with roots extending into all the world's great sacred and philosophical traditions. Now it is appearing in healthcare, business, politics, and economics. Meet wise organizations integrating this uncommon wisdom. Explore how those even in the most demanding environments are thinking more universally, developing conscious capitalism, and using spiritual insights.

    Keynote: Spiritual Leadership

Spiritual leadership means leading others with the power of your example rather than the authority of your office. It means using inspiration rather then force to encourage right action.

Law of Group Good

The Law: What you do should always be for the greater group good

When a business or a society fails to take enough into account, it destroys itself. Wisdom is simply a more expanded context, a larger perspective. Wise organizations move beyond the narrow interests of a few and design more inclusively for the needs of many. Understand why the CEO of the nation's fourth-largest retailer takes such a modest salary. Consider businesses designing for wider circles of interest and outperforming even the Good to Great organizations by 3:1. Understand how capitalism itself is going through a process of maturation moving beyond the narcissism of its early development.

Law of Abundance

The Law: Sufficient resources exist to accomplish anything you want to do

Often we assume there is not enough. We live with, believe in, and precipitate real scarcity. But imagine being in the flow of abundance—experiencing the world as responsive and connected in such a way as to make anything possible. Take a journey to a seemingly-impossible place where an extraordinary hospital and laboratory began. Look at their remarkable philosophy and growth into 120 countries. Consider the experiences of other organizations shifting their perception, discovering hidden wealth, and releasing a greater abundance.

Law of Fear

The Law: Fear separates

As a tool of manipulation and control, fear supersedes all others. When it pervades, we contract to our lowest and most primal state. Look at how fear underlies many of our societal structures. Notice the way one aggressive company this year used fear and intimidation as its primary strategy of domination and control. But think also about how fear more subtly underlies many of our decisions and strategies in business. Understand where this path ultimately leads, how it creates separation, and severs us from our own highest intelligence—and ultimately everything else.

Law of Inner Knowing

The Law: All things you seek to know are already within you

Because you are connected to all that is, you can know in many ways. Starbucks described this as an internal compass when they did what seemed impossible—begin a coffee business when coffee was at its lowest point of consumption in decades, develop a product few understood and which ran counter to the prevailing industry trends, and start in a city in the midst of a wrenching recession. Consider the wisdom that arises from your heart and the intuitive or nonlinear intelligences so essential to every innovator and leader.

Law of Harmony

The Law: What you do should be in harmony with the rest of the universe

From harmony with a single individual to harmony with the great cycles of the universe—when we align ourselves more completely, we release tremendous power. Think about where you are most or least in harmony. Look at how one organization saved hundreds of millions of dollars through an unconventional wisdom strategy designed to bring harmony where there might have been dissention and litigation.

Law of Limited Expression

The Law: Everything is a limited expression of a much larger version of itself

Only a tiny part of each person or organization is in expression. The much greater part exists as pure potential or pattern. This enfolded potential can be evoked or brought into expression through particular environments. The highest gift of leadership is to see a thing as it will exist in its next highest expression and accelerate its movement.
